British and EIC in India - Early 1800's

I thought I would update everyone on my India project. This will be historical fiction in the early 1800's. Here are the units for the British and EIC so far. All of these are painted and based by Eric at Pigmented miniatures.

First up is the British EIC unit

Then two units of Sepoys.

British EIC and some British Sepoys

This is a continuation of my India project. I plan to do India around the early 1800's. It will be purely historical fiction. Still haven't decided on rules may be Sharpe practice or a modified TSATF.

I have had 3 painters working on the project to get it completed. Below are some Perry Napoleonic sculpts that will represent the EIC and also some 1st Corps sepoys.

There will more units to come!

The below were done by Eric at Pigmented Miniatures

India project update - Persian body guard and Mughal/Rajput cavalry

Here is a quick update from my painter on some cavalry I have him painting

First up - Perry miniatures - I will be using these as Persian body guard for the Rajah.

Also we have some Foundry miniatures that will represent Rajput or Mughal cavalry. I am very happy with the colors on these.

More on the way...and yes they will be my own INDUS miniatures!

India project update

Just a quick update on my India project - sorry for the picture quality. As a side note I did not paint any of these!

First up some carts and wagons. The carts are from Empress and the horse cart from Fife and Drum. The Maharaja Elephant is from the defunct London War room. The Standard bearer elephant is my Indus miniatures.

Next we have some Sepoy's by Indus miniatures.

The next unit is some 1st Corp Sepoys with command miniatures by Perry.

The we have some Indus miniatures Baluchi - allied to the Raj.

And last we have some Foundry afghans in the service of the Raj.

More to come!

Thanks Ashok
